With 99% academic books, 50% comics and novels gone and,

So……my books are gone. I no longer have those books, novels and comics. My pants are on fire.
If the old books (elementary, high school) are gone, and I have new ones (university), does that mean my Identity has Changed?
Does it make sense? Can someone’s identity be changed?
Does that mean my old identity is out the window and I will never see it again?
How long will this identity last?
